Biografia

Lorenzo Pusterla began his Conservatory studies in Milan with M. Silvia Limongelli, with whom he obtained his bachelor degree Cum Laude in April 2022. He is currently finishing the Master Degree course with M. Davide Cabassi at the same institution (graduation date set in October 2024).

He has been awarded in national and international competitions such as the “Città di Tradate”, Liszt competition in Bellagio, “Concorso giovani talenti di Rivarolo Canavese” and the "Recondite Armonie" competition in Grosseto and the chamber music competition “Milanocity” (first prize).

He has a classical high school diploma and in December 2022 he obtained a three-year degree in mathematics at Milan’s “Università degli Studi”. He speaks Italian, English (B2) and some Russian.
He is currently studying composition at Milan’s Conservatory with M. Sonia Bo and organ at the same institution with M. Giovanni Mazza. He is the main organist of the “Santuario della Madonna dei Miracoli” in Milan.

Esperienza

He has a record of numerous public performances and recitals in Milan and in its province, organized by the Pianocity Milano festival, Primavera di Baggio, the Shigeru Kawai Center in Corsico, the Monza Visionaria at the Royal Villa of Monza, Municipality of Abbiategrasso, Bookcity Milan and by Milan’s Conservatory. He has also performed in the municipal theatre of Ledro, in Turin (Oratorio San Filippo), and in recital in Ferrara. He has performed in various chamber music formations in Milan (at Spazio ex-Fornace and at Corte dei Miracoli), Pavia (Chiesa di San Lanfranco), La Thuile and as a student of the chamber music festival IMF he has performed in Poland, Russia and Latvia. He now works as a teacher for this festival.
He has attended piano masterclasses with M. Rattalino, Cabassi, Larionova, Bellucci, Mariagrazia Bellocchio (laboratory on Kurtág’s music), Benedetto Lupo, Yaron Rosenthal, Andrzej Pikul, Eric Le Sage, Natalia Trull, Ramin Bahrami.
