Biografia
I began my musical career at the age of 10 at the Escuela Vocacional de Arte in the province of Camagüey, Cuba and finished at the age of 22 at the Instututo Superior de Arte, in 2014. In the 4 years I studied at the ISA.
Esperienza
I was part of groups such as "Son del Nene" and Haila Mompié and his Orchestra, with whom I made my first tour of Europe in 2012. After graduating I started playing with Jose Luis Cortes y NG La Banda, a representative orchestra of Cuban Latin Jazz, in which I was until 2017, playing in major Jazz and Salsa festivals in Colombia and Mexico, apart from the renowned Jazz Plaza in Havana. In 2017, I start with El Niño y La Verdad, where I made my second and third tours in Europe, performing in big venues in Belgium, Holland, Italy, Switzerland, Spain and France. Already in 2019, I am part of "La Orquesta" under the direction of maestro Alain Perez, where we toured Canada, Mexico and Colombia, always on the jazz festival circuit, and also in Spain, Switzerland, France, and England. Now I live in Bolzano and here I am part on the Stadtkapelle Bozen, Brass Band Überetsch and The Homeless Band.
